Seiko Dive Watches Terminology

So we know Seiko fans gave affectionate names to the Seiko dive watches like Monster/Sumo etc, but what exactly constitute to these names? How would you guys introduce these names to someone new to Seiko watches? Correct me if I am wrong.



Monster - 'Diver's 200m' written on face, bezel's side profile looks like 'M', luminous indices looks like teeth



Sumo - 'Scuba 200m' written on face, bezel's side profile looks like sumo ring(?), luminous indices are circles except the '12', '3', '6', and '9' position



Tuna - Marinemaster, with a obvious 'shell' resembling a can



Are there other terms that I may have missed out?

Hmm shogun? Even though it belongs to sumo?

Sumo is bcos the 12 hour marker look very fat sumo legs like that? Plus over all size is large and markers on bezel are big too.



Shotgun I think it's because the case shape is somewhat similar to the samurai (don't ask me why they are Nick named samurai?) And since it is a higher level version, so shogun lor as it is the

Samurai's lord.

It appears most of the names are by the international community with the exception of Monster.
