This huan i unable to help you liao lo... This piece i bought more than 20yrs ago, long before i went NS in 1990.
The brand is "University of Oxford", back then i paid more than 200 for it, which was the highest price i ever paid for a quartz chrono dress watch then... now, i don't think you can find liaoz...

Not impressive in pics, but in real life the very 3D dial and heft plus case finishing is impressive.

Actually i don't find anything wrong with your shot. Your phone cam do capture the raised indices. The shadow of the indice sides is very obvious.
