Story 1let me share a story when i was attached to Stagmont camp for my vocation training.
my small unit was so call tekan(but in a good way), of taking over Guard duties on PH & weekends, bopian, we are outside unit so tio jiak, naturally we curse & swear lor
I remembered one particular night, my buddy & i were doing prowling at the lecture block in the wee hour, it really looked super eerie when we were walking towards the lecture block from the parade square, total darkness..
Once we've walked down the steps, we patrolled the whole of the 1st level..as we were walking back to the parade square, my buddy suddenly turned & walked towards the end of the block by himself so I stood there waiting, thinking he might be going to toilet.
When he came back, I asked him why had he walked towards the direction. he replied
"no ar, I heard children's giggling back there so I went to check it out lor but I didn't see anything leh.."
"Oh, ok.." i replied (knn, my goosebumps were activated when I heard his reply but nevertheless..we just made our way back towards the parade square to continue our prowling..
Story 2, same night but different buddy this time
We were still on foot patrol doing the prowling duty, as we made our way to the battalion(not sure if it's Battalion blk, it's where the DO office is & the flagpole is right in front of it.)
As we were walking along the ground floor corridor, towards the DO office, I was walking infront, my buddy about 1-2m behind me..
Suddenly I heard a low growl RIGHT NEXT to my ear, i froze in my footstep.
I turned around, my buddy oso stopped in his track when he saw me turned but he was unaware of anything. I said nothing..my goosebump again, is activated... since I do not want to alarm him, we just continued the prowling....
Story 3, same night, same buddy
We were making our way back to guardhouse when I had the urge to turn back & look at the battalion block. As I turned back, (there are staircase at both ends of the building just for info), I saw someone running up the staircase, at a very fast speed.
Somebody running up a flight of stairs, in the wee hours of the morning?? & on a PH somemore?? Haha, I had enough liao, I comms back to guardhouse & told them what I had seen.
As per usual, they found nobody except the Duty Officer in his office, on the ground floor..shrug

When he reached his fren's block(btw, the block is facing a big grasspatch), he sat on a bench beside a tree and waited...suddenly from nowhere..
A string drooped down and lightly tapped his shoulder..although he was stunned by that..nevertheless, his eyes followed the string upwards...until it reaches the end of the string..
A small boy,sitting on top of the tree branch, looking down at him..meanwhile still playing with the string..swing it lightly..front...back....front...back..as if he was playing with my bro..my bro became 'roadrunner' the very next moment

During my time, i was in charge of 'Kiddy' ride, pay $1 for 5min those kind, those motorised cars for children if you know what I mean. So i was in charge of this station, Haw Par Villa closes at 5pm so when it reaches 445pm, I will need to carry all the cars/motorbike to the back of a theatre.
If any of you ever remember, Haw Par Villa used to have 5 theatres. My job is to carry all the vehicles down a flight of stairs behind the theatre(nb, my hair standing again ), open a door & keep all the vehicles inside the room & lock it up.
So nearing 5pm liao, i slowly carry the vehicles to the back of the theatre, carrying 2 at a time down the stairs, I completed carrying all 10+ vehicles down and proceeded to open the door.
SUDDENLY
1 of a motorbike started moving on its own, around the small room compound. KNN, i was stunned, i stood there dumbfounded for 10-15secs, looking at the motorbike. Then waking up, I walked over to the bike, wanted to stop it with one arm BUT surprisingly, i couldn't stop it!! it was dragging me along, i was like "wtf!? these vehicle are so damn light that i can carry one each with 1 hand, now i can't stop it!"
Next solution is to press the On/Off button on the fuel tank, it was already in Off mode, knn, i was like pressing On/Off, On/Off, still moving..then i set it to half-half position. Then it finally slowed down & stopped. I stood there...looked at all the vehicles...my hair was standing but I couldn't just leave all the vehicles uattended..
I quickly unlocked the door, instead of carrying the vehicles in, I grabbed & throw, twice at a time, locked the door and get the f**k outta there...man....

We were organized into search teams, and sent off to comb the areas, starting with the missing cadet's position at the sch hostel. At around 6am, the missing cadet was found, sleeping under a bench in the canteen, approximate 2km away from his initial position.
Groggily, he told the instructors that at his solo night position, he was woken up and told to move, because that spot was already taken.

Two years back a friend of mine for more than two decades stayed with us, for about a year while he was in-between houses. He had his own room, and we noticed that he always slept with his lights on. He told us he usually falls asleep, forgetting to switch off the lights. We had no reason to doubt that, as he is a surgeon and had the habit of pulling late nights at the hospital, coming home really tired, and he'd read till he slept. Eventually we sold the house, and his house was also ready. As we drew nearer to moving out of my old house, one night we were having a break outside the house, at the end of the road. After fumbling a little he suddenly told me that it wasn't that he falls asleep without switching off his room lights. He left them on deliberately. Apparently, he had been pushed off his bed very often, towards the window, and these happened usually as he is about to fall asleep. More than once he was physically pushed off while awake, and he had to grab the other edge of the bed to hold on.

First time was many years ago, when we returned home to find our maid sitting at the front porch, waiting for us because she said that someone was at the backyard. Second time was when a different maid kept cooked rice inside her cupboard, she refused to say why. Both maids always slept with their room lights on. Throughout my kids' toddler years my son would wake up screaming, inconsolable. He always told us that someone walked though the room. Once he even pointed the exact spot when the someone was supposedly still standing at. Up to this stage we were able to rationalise things away.

Hope u managed to get a gd price too for that Hse. Maybe, next time, u move Hse, u can bring a young ones to help u. Somehow, they have very good sense, or feel.
Usually, when we shift Hse, I will bring a baby or toddler along. If they started screaming or refused to go in, I will avoid that Hse.
My son(1yr old then) refused to go into this particular unit that we r thinking of buying abt a year ago. We ended up buying a more expensive unit as again, my son then was happy roaming in this unit, he walked in straight the moment the door was opened.
We turned and told the agent, we will take that unit on that day, first viewing.

The front porch maid said someone was on the backyard walking around loh. Second maid never say anything.

I was there for 10 years, and I sold it for around market price. Because of the profile of landed owners (from my experience few take max LTV loan, like my current place the previous owners had a 100,000 loan only) It is mostly sellers' market anyway for older landed estates, as every house is different and to some degree sellers do have pricing power.
While I have seen ghosts (well just one actually, but that's another story), my wife and I are not superstitious, and not fearful. Have have, don't have don't have, it doesn't really matter to us. They come and go, and sometimes we are the ones who brought them in, so all else being equal for properties we still go by PSF, lay of the land, tenure, location, masterplans, rental yields, potential for appreciation etc.

Users of social media sites should not post their pictures online as they could be used for witchcraft, said Kelantan Darussyifa' Islamic Medicine Association chairman Zaki Ya.
He said that djin (spirits) are able to "connect" with humans through the Internet, including Facebook, Sinar Harian reported.
"Once, I treated someone who became delirious because a spell had been cast on him while he was surfing the Internet," said Zaki.
"A few days ago, I received an SMS from a father asking me to help his son who refused to go to school.
"The father suspected that his son had been influenced by a djin over the Internet," he said when met at the USM Traditional Islamic Medicine Clinic in Penang.
He said the boy would create a fuss every time his parents forbade him from using the Internet and would even threaten to kill himself.
Zaki added that although he had not met the boy, he is confident that the Darussyifa' Islamic Treatment centre could "heal" him.

last ict i was on mobile patrol around 8pm as v comd with the driver. we were coming to a side gate from far (approx 4-500m away) and i saw a couple of figures walking through it. Thought it was strange and ask the driver since when was the gate opened till late cause the previous ict i was briefed it opens till 7pm. the driver looked surprised and said it wasn't and in fact was no longer in use for a few months. I told him what i saw and we both went :o then :shock: then :? ...not sure if it was a figment of my imagination.. :P

Sounds like 1 of a rover story i heard recently, except the vcomm & the driver did not see figures walking thru a gate.The figure was floating next to their rover while the driver was speeding the hell away from that axis, sweating & cursing under his breath, with the apparition still right behind the side mirror :|

i just remembered, it was Miss P behind the side mirror
no wonder both vcomm & driver sped all the way back camp.
as in really sped, rovers usually have those speed control buzzing sound rite, by the time they reached camp, they kena f**ked by their officer for speeding & were charged
but charges was wrote off when they explained what they saw,lol

My company went on a night tour that was organised by Sg Paranormal Investigator years back.
One of the places we went was How Par Villa, SPI told us that the spirits of the founding brothers of HPV were still there. SPI used their temperature sensing apparatus and pointed to a small "tower" saying that the temperature there was always lower due to presence of the brothers' spirits.
But alas, nothing scary came out of our tour.

i had a small experience during my time in national service. i was doing patrol duty in one of the camps in Changi (not Hendon). there was this route where the checkpoint is located at the end of this big gate with a sentry post. basically there is a small sloop down before you reach the gate. and on the left hand side of the road that lead to the gate is actually the SOC ground. perhaps its an SOC ground so there are no street lamp on that side of the road. on the right side there is but for some reason the light seem pretty weak and only random numbers of light are on.the time was around 3.15am, i remembered cause it was the second last checkpoint and i was checking to see if we're early or on time. my buddy went down the sloop to scan as i was a little lazy to climb back up. i started walking after i heard the sound of scanning...
while walking, my buddy suddenly speed up and said, 'eh let's go. walk faster leh'
i replied saying we're still a little early to go back. he just replied say 'just walk la, dont ask so much. go back early can smoke also.' i thought it's either he just want to take a puff or perhaps tummy ache.
nevertheless, i followed and we reached the guardroom within 15 minutes. (we still managed to scan the last checkpoint). after putting our stuff, we walked to the smoking point. but strangely he didn't start smoking, so out of curiously i asked. 'eh, why don't smoke? if not why the rush? you wanna take a shit ah?'
'no lah, i don't have shit. just wanna go off lor. aiya don't say lah nothing lah.'
i pressed on and he replied 'actually just now i saw something, but don't be shock lah.... when i was walking towards the gate i saw a little girl... at the low wall. she was running around the wall. when i walk back up from the gate, i think she knows i saw her... then she waved at us, ask us to play with her' :shock:
he's the guy of guy who don't really lie about things and take things seriously. so you can imagine how i felt after he told me... luckily this was our last patrol for the night...
although i still stay in contact with this guy, i swear that was the last time i did guard duty with him. :roll:
