Servicing Seiko 6138-8030

Hi guys,

Hoping for repair/servicing advice. I bought a seiko 6138-8030 "John Player Special" recently and it was keeping time but the power reserve seemed abit off. But just last night the top pusher (activates the chrono) got stuck and the whole thing stopped moving.

Need to get it fixed, where should I go? I know K2 is a big favourite here but I've had a old seiko bellmatic turned down by Mr Goh before and wonder if any old birds here know if he would look at a 6138 or anywhere else I could try?

U can try the shops around bencoolen. Quite a few guys there repairing watches. Prices wise is steep. JW waiting time is very long.. bonafield - price the steepest but he do a general overhaul and some restoration. Kk market second floor also have....
