Seiko 1000m golden Tuna Scubapro?

Seiko 1000m golden Tuna Scubapro?

I'm only aware of two Seiko Scubapro models:



#1: Seiko 6306-7001 Scubapro produced from 1978-81 (?)

#2: Seiko 7c46-7011 300m Tuna Scubapro 1999



I've never heared of a 7c46-7008 Scubapro 1000m golden Tuna, although the one in the link above looks pretty legit. Does anybody know if this is a legit Scubapro model or just a modified dial?



Any help would be appreciated.

Do a translation about the product description from Japanese to English .





" It is a super-rare commodity of double name dial with SCUBAPRO diving equipment manufacturers [Product Description] Seiko. It was kept in a safe place in unused condition. I think that there is no scratch, such as conspicuous. I have the battery replaced by the manufacturer in 2010 at the battery out in the purchase in 1999. It is being driven ever since currently. Rumiburaito specification (seal has been affixed to the back cover for some reason, had kept intact) at 遊環 genuine and genuine urethane band [遊環 and belt], Luminous is not such as scratches here also conspicuous I think. ★ This item is very beautiful because it is unused goods, but since there may be such as minor scratches that can not be checked, Masu top as exhibition used treatment. Battery replacement in 2010 is filled-in warranty. Since it does not conduct waterproof inspection of later, more nervous, please refrain from the tender of a new hope. No claim, no return. Will consult [delivery method] after a successful bid. "







Back case is 7c46-7008 , but warranty is 7c46-7000 ?

Thanks for all replies and for the links. To avoid misunderstandings let me say that I'm aware of the fact that different model numbers (-7009 and -7008) exist. Actually I'm happy to own one of each. My initial question was only referring to the Scubapro dial, because I never heard of a Scubapro golden Tuna. According to its serial number it was produced in 1997, so two years before they released the limited edition 300m Scubapro Tuna 7c46-7011 and many years after the famous 6306-7001 Scubapro. I've compared the dial (especially the Scubapro text) of the golden Tuna with those legit Seiko Scubapro dials and must admit that the text font looks quite legit. I'm curious to know if there really was a limited edition 1000m golden Tuna produced for Scubapro (just like the other limited edition Seiko Divers mentioned above) in this time period (1997), or if this is just a modified (and therefore fake) dial pretending to be something special.

Hi Mario,

I was also very intrigued by the scubapro gold tuna.

A member here told me about it and i followed the auction.

Like you, i have never heard of or seen a 600m Scubapro tuna. But the dial and font do look legit!



Really hard conclude about its authenticity...

About authenticity , maybe can sent an enquiries email to Seiko Japan cust service about the concern watch with pictures and numbers , or maybe to reputable online dealers like seiya / higuchi , they're sure know more than us here .
