SEIKO SNE107P1 or SNZH57J1 solar vs automatic

Hi guys / girls,



i'm looking to get 1 for desk diving & an everyday beater.



i need some pointers here. was in chinatown today and came across these 2 models.











I know they are cheapo types but which of the 2 would better hold whatever minute value they have

and if they are able to hold up as beaters?



SNE model is solar so no battery non automatic 200mtr wr

i know nothing about this particular model, its runs on artificial and sunlight..

(no jewels?, made where?)



SNZH model is good for 55 homage automatic 100mtr wr (23 jewels

made in japan



i won't mod any of them, just need your opinions on which of the 2 is better?



also 1 is made in japan however the other does not state but both come with warranty



is non made in japan models a deal breaker? 7s36c vs v158 movements? which one?

Doesnt matter where they are made, no difference in quality. For daily beater I will go with the solar powered quartz. Accurate, more resistant to shock, drops and vibrations. I wore my skx007 mountain biking once and the timing went from +/- 4 to 6s per day to a miserable -12 to 20s per day.

Baitianshi, you are comparing two very different "animals". Better value? Hardly. But the SNZH will have ready buyers who are passionate in modifying (if the price is right), while the Solar is comparatively less popular. In the end, it's about which watch you have more affinity with. Happy shopping. :)

I think watchwagon got stock of ecozilla. I also saw an ecozilla at WINS at Bencoolen.

Watchwagon quite ex 360.00 whereas skywatches only a tad over 300.00

S$60.00 to me means half tank gas lol

I will get my bum down bencoolen one of these few days.
