Hi i new N quite a virgin when it comes to time pieces

Thinking of get a quartz watch.

Are there different types of movements

that are preferred choices?

Hmm quartz? I guess any movement with a quartz oscillator counts.. So u have normal quartz, high torque quartz, thermo compensated quartz, kinetic, solar, eco drive etc? Not sure if spring drive counts
