Only problem is, the dollar's dropped against all other currencies too. New Seiko's are based off JPY pricing, and Eurpoean watches to EUR! 8-)

I just punch in 1 USD to SGD in google, usually I just factor another 5% more, so that's 1.26 in bank rate ? I was calc. how much for 1 USD if I wanna hoot something in USD

Although on PayPal is

1.17 SGD

PayPal exchange rate:

1 USD = 1.17279 SGD

That's when I'm buying SGD in USD.

Anyway regardless, USD is quite chui..

Wonder what will happen after 2nd August...

I think Paypal takes 2.5% off currency conversions, on top of any other fees they charge. Same with most credit cards (complete rip-offs). Why don't we have no conversion fee CC's in Singapore? As of last year, the Maybank Horizon CC had lower conversion fees at 1.5% (but they've raised that since); otherwise, all other CC's seem to state a ~2.5% conversion in the T&C's, total nonsense.

Look at the Dollar index over the past 10 years. It's a mess, but it went from ~120 in 2001 to 72 in 2011. Then again, it hit the low 70's in 2008 & 2009, so... :| Perhaps best thing to buy is US Dollars! No where to go but up!

Think Seiya updates prices to match teh JPY-USD rate... otherwise, he'dve been out of business long ago!

Agree on part one, but I think left think right, can't seem to arrive at part two on my own... Care to share your thinking?
