Nice 1963..i am on the hunt for a cheap two register mechanical chronograph and the panda dial version of this is one of thr contenders with a fliegear style from Ticino a close second. How has the 1963 been for you? Keep good time? Build quality?

1963 would be more worth while than Ticino. Ticino's QC a bit off, most of the bro here who got ticino has problem with the power reserve catch, but can be send back to Ticino for a repair. I sent mine back once and so far so good.
