Good night to fellow Seiko bros here.



Just got my isofrane for my MM300 and it is definitely more comfortable than the oem rubber. More pricier than usual since I got the pvd buckle - I am using the 2nd / 3rd slot, so I guess I do have smaller wrists than I thought. :D



Had to dip the springbars in Chinese medical oil (axe brand) and then successfully worked them into the band. Rather amusingly the band is smaller than 20mm now, maybe 19mm. It does not fit snugly - there's a gap between the lug and the band's side.







I don't think I will be able to remove the springbars from the strap without damaging either one. Just ordered replacement fat springbars from seiyajapan...

Pyu, just wanna share my experience with Isofrane on Seiko fat spring bars.



I found that with the fat spring bars, the Isofranes tend to be very tight on the bars. Coupled with the softness of the strap, this means that I can actually yank out the strap when I tugged hard on one side. It took me some time to squeeze out the fat spring bars, but it is possible.



Went to eBay and purchased some normal spring bars with 1.1mm ends so that they fit the Seiko lugs, yet not too tight on the Isofranes.

I found that with the fat spring bars, the Isofranes tend to be very tight on the bars. Coupled with the softness of the strap, this means that I can actually yank out the strap when I tugged hard on one side. It took me some time to squeeze out the fat spring bars, but it is possible.



Went to eBay and purchased some normal spring bars with 1.1mm ends so that they fit the Seiko lugs, yet not too tight on the Isofranes.


Thanks bro. Just found the buyer twente(o) on eBay and purchased 10x springbars (20mm x 1.78mm x 1.1mm).

I purchased the 22mm springbars from him too. Great guy, shipping should take a week.



I found that with the skinnier spring bars, there is less chance of yanking it out. But... I can still pull the straps out from the watch if I try... Wearing Isofranes on SBBN023 here. I guess thats the disadvantage of the "stickier" and softer isofranes. Granted in daily wear the chances of it being pulled off should be very low.



Trying hard to overcome my insecurities haha.
