No wonder the Malaysian noodle started a craze in HWZ... i still thought that the A1 Bak Kut Teh noodle is still the best... haa~~~ been living on food centers offerings...



Anyway... Glad that one of my favorite is in the list!

Buy the non-spicy version. Tastes 100 times better than spicy version.

Plus 1! The spicy balachan paste sometime too dry and salty. Tends to spoil the oredi prawny flavor seasoning... if want spicy, add pizza type chilli flakes shall do.

A little side note for your info... the NONG SHIM noodles sold in major stores and supermarkets are not MIK. They're MIC actually. The real MIK NONG SHIM can only be bought in those korean product specialty stores like Shine Korea. For real MIK budget friendly noodles in pack of 5, check out those made by SAMYANG and OTTOGI. PALDO in the past were MIK, but recent period noodles are VN origin.

Hands down (in no order of preference)



Thai Mama instant noodles - less water Tom yam goong only

Myojo mee soto. - less water and half cooked

Indo-mi. - mee goreng dry

Nissin. - cup noodles only any flavor



I'm a slut for instant noodles!!!!

due to recent years influx of korean noodles, as well as improving quality and flavor of our local produce, i had almost forgotten about the indonesian produce. Until recent try on...



...goes totally bonkers with this flavor! :lol:
