Hi all,

I wanted to get myself a seiko watch & have been looking around the models & have shortlisted some mechanical models. Can anyone advise roughly what's the retail prices and i'll be able to know whether it exceed my budget. Thanks

Hi , I always like use skywatches online shop to have a better

Idea on the current new watch prices on Seiko and orient ,



skywatches is local base and got a retail shop name watch fashion in people's park lever 4 . But do view it in on desktop mode while using Hp to browse , and dont forget to change the currency to SGD dollars , lastly do take note that those listed price have not include GST. They charge GST . Add those GST up and you'll have a better idea on the cost price .

I always use skywatches, creationwatch to get an idea of the price of export piece. For local TS set just head down to any shop that carries Seiko and apply a 35% off the retail... For Orient around 30%.

Hi thanks for the link. In fact i've tried searching at skywatches but i could not find those models that i've mentioned earlier. I just cant find it in seiko mens mechanical & automatic.

Bro, let us know which Seiko watch you are looking for if you will. There are too many carrot head choppers out there.

Hi Chef,

I intend to get a seiko mechanical / automatic watch and had zoom into the following choices:

1. Ananta SRQ077J1 - this would be my 1st choice. However it looks to be way over my budget

2. Premier4R39 SSA215J1 - this is my 2nd choice. However I'm not so sure about the sub-dials cramping between at 8 & 11hr mark. I've got to go to watch shop and try it on my hand & see how it goes.

3. Prospex 4r36 SRP581 / 583J1 - this is my last choice. Actual fact i didn't quite like this kind of bezel design but I'll still consider given fact its mechanical and a diver watch with a higher water resistance. I've got to go to watch shop and try it on my hand & see how it goes too.

The srp011j you want is not likely to be on sale in Singapore unless in Seiko Boutique shop in Vivo or Jem. Price likeky over $4000. I think there is one on sale second hand if you can browse the sales section. The rest you should be able to see and ask basically when you move around. The usual suspects woild be those already mentioned or City Chain shops or H2 hub shops.

Wow...didnt know the Ananta collection would cost that much. I've stop wearing watch since secondary school and now in my thirties, this could be consider as my 1st watch and I don't think I would fall into the catergory of watch collectors (yet... :) ). Basically just need a nice looking seiko steel watch to read time instead of I've to keep reaching my pocket for iphone to know what time is it now.

You have good taste mah so price also taste sweet. If you want can always look for preloved.



For straight diver, you cannot go wrong with skx007 imho.

My colleague recommend me to go to k2 at tanjong katong complex instead of walking into seiko boutiques. Did not get the chance to ask him why though. Guess i'll be dropping by at k2 this weekend.

k2 price very competitive but range maybe limited. Bencoolen

Quite competitive too but wider range. If k2 got the model you want then price almost always is cheaper there.

I dont know whether he's from this forum, we didnt talk about watch forums...but he seems to know alot about watches and he has had some rolexs. He recommend me to get the sumo though.

Nowadays, k2 nothing interesting compared to the last few years. A lot of bros sibei steady, got in no out.

K2 - Go there come out with some straps and occassionally a new watch. :lol:

Sorry I went all over Singapore shopping malls and neighborhood shops and still cannot find these 2 pieces. I think price is 5 figures. Cannot even afford Maggie mee if hoot.

I use the search function also no result

However i have some answers from google...also have some places recommend by yeoman's blog. I believe he's from this forum as well

Finally got myself a 1st seiko watch.

Its a SRP327J

Deviate quite alot from my initial choice of models but no regret and loving it.
