Rotating back to the Shogun today with the mm300 now sitting in the winder (one I got from Groupon, think the brand is Orient Crown). This watch is on +5s/day.

I assume is a vintage Zodiac Sea Wolf? According to this, Zodiac is re-releasing those old models in the future after showing them in that article. Very classic looking. :)

To tell you the truth, I don't the model number/name. Looking at this picture makes me realise (after about 20 years of ownership), this is a Rolex homage?! Last time I thought it was a copy of the Tag Huer :mrgreen:
I would never want to buy a Rolex homage now unless I buy one of the real thing first. :lol:

Haha. To be honest, if you look at it, I think 70% of diver design on the market contains elements from original 55xx series leh and once you add Blancpain and Panerai into the mix, pretty much entire diver watch market is some form of homage. Maybe if you get a Jenny or Doxa can count as original design :lol:

true true, that's why I very scared people say my mm300 looks like Rolex.....i think Mr Goh put it nicely, Rolex looks like Seiko, when I talked to him about the Sea Urchin. :lol:
