Seiko 4R36 movement: Running 1minute slower a day

Hi all.



As my watch just returned from a repair at TS, I am starting to observe that the movement runs 1minute slower per day.



So I was thinking, what is the acceptable range of +/- secs per day?

One minute slow per day is out of whack. Please return it to TS for repair or regulation. I think entry level movement like 4Rxx +/- 15s to 25s per day ?

Hmm now i checked, its 1 minute faster. Zzz

Wah..OP if it was slow yesterday for 1 minute and fast today by 1 minute, means it actually gained 2 minutes over the past 24 hours.. :shock:

OP should not be so kancheong, given such a short period, be it on new watches or overhauled movements.

Give it sometime to settle down... then start to monitor roughly on the 6th or 7th days onwards. Sometime movements goes fast or slow, also dependent on it's resting position when owner remove it off the wrist @ the end of the day... common lah...

Recalibrated it again yesterday. As of now its running at +20secs. Hopefully its will stabilise. :)

After 2 weeks of monitoring.



Im looking at +5mins per week.





Yesterday drop by TS again to have it checked. Now its -7secs/day. Acceptable :D

Yeah -7s per day is okay la. Though I prefer my watches to be fast.
