From the seiko site, this watch seem to have 50 over hours PR, not the newer 72 hrs PR. Not sure how true. Maybe typo.

This is a high beat model so the power reserve of 50 hrs seems about right. The 72 hours reserve is for the 28800 beat models.

Just got it yesterday. Honestly when i first saw it in the box, i was a bit underwhelmed. however once on my wrist, it was a different experience. The look and feel is just simply put luxurious. The zaratsu polishing used for the braclet gives it a beautiful finish (I love swords as well) and the louped design makes it very snug on the wrist. The dial also makes the face look bigger than its 40mm face. This is my first grand seiko and i think its going to be my daily beater. its really a work of Art..beauty in its simplicity. now im just checking out the famed precision just for the fun of it. Took a crappy photo using my phone.

I really love the 001 but at close to 10k :o I think it's more likely for me to get the SBGM021 for my first GS.

Haha I didnt mean it like that. Its a lot of money for me. I just am so excited about the watch.. its really something special in terms of build ,finish and precision.

Haha can't help it..... but not everyone like you can rotate between GS LEs de. So have a great watch why not use it as daily beater. :D
