Seiko Silver Surfer 2.0

Hi Guys



Wanted to share my latest Mod



Allow me to introduce my Seiko Silver Surfer Ver 2.0 :D



Hard to get a good pic because of the Domed Crystal :oops:



For those curious about the Details of the Mod...here goes:

1) Started off with a Seiko 6309-7040 that previous owner had fitted a Dome Crystal to

2) Had the 6309 case modified by TheTigerUK to one of his TST series, to hold a custom Tuna Shroud

3) Movement is from a 6306 Dress Watch

4) Dial and Hands from a 6309 Dress watch

5) Silver Bezel Insert and Chapter Ring from Yobokies

Nice mod and nice dial too.

May be you can try the following steps to take pics of the dome crystal



1.set your cam to macro mode

2. lower your cam and shoot from the side

Thanks also for the advise on taking the pics, will try them.



With the Dome Crystal, the difficulty I am having is with trying to avoid it picking up unwanted reflections.
