How do you maintain / care for Stainless Steel bracelet?

How do you maintain / care for Stainless Steel bracelet?
Its been very long since I wore a watch with s/s bracelet strap. All along I was wearing NATO strap.



Mind sharing how you guys clean, or take care of the bracelet strap? Its prone to attracting dirt and sweat at so many hidden corners.



Of course I know the best way to keep it clean is to NOT WEAR IT. haha.

I use a soft toothbrush and household cleaning detergent n brush it under tap.

Yup I use the tooth brush and detergent method too

I use bracelet a lot, sometimes use Silvio or Autosol to polish than light detergent and soft toothbrush.

i'm using a mini ultrasonic machine with a bit of liquid soap to do the job for my bracelet and jewellry.

I assume its a MUST to take out the strap from the watch first? Or you guys just "wash brush rinse" with the watch still attached?

Will the screws loosen if use ultrasonic?

Good question, I see some ultrasound machine have a "bridge" like holder to keep the watch head above the water. But to be safe, I would take out the bracelet if I can.



Would really like to hear what bro seiko siao does.. :D

i do not put the whole watch into it and clean,i will usually put it a few bracelet and clean it for 2-3mins till the water turn milky and i will run it under clean water and put to dry with the screw hear side facing downwards to ensure water does not stay in the hole.

Yup that would be safer. But I guess most of us here are more concerned about the intense micro vibrations shaking soemthing loose or out of alignment withinnthe delicate watch movement. Does anyone have a thought on this?

It wont shake something loose but I think accuracy might get affected.

Thats is what I think the main concern. Like I suggested earlier, somethings may be shaken out of alignment. Looks like its best to take the bracelet off the watch head for that uktra sound clean. :D
