Woah..what does pink spots mean? Wouldn't fuming do harm to the gaskets and movement?

Not sure lei. Hope is not the vengeanc vinegar leaching the zinc and leaving the copper.
So far I run the watch under tap water and still ok. Not going to swim with it. But like I say I better stop.
