Japan Darth Tuna 1000M Automatic

Hi All, this is my first post in the forum. I am traveling in Japan now and saw the Darth Tuna 1000m automatic asking for ard S$3000. Is it worth to get? Reply appreciated. Thanks.

The darth tuna is a quartz movement designated SSBN013 while the automatic tuna is designated SBDX011 aka Emperor Tuna. So please check again and see what you are getting. Dun get these two mixed up.

sorry typo, the darth is SBBN013. Btw , the darth is listed at big time at $24xx. The emperor price is already listed in an earlier post. I believe in japan, the prices could go lower.

It says automatic on the face. So ard S$3k is ok price?

Amazon japan selling ¥219800. Personally I will order from there and have them send to hotel, unless you can get the same price at the store.

SBBN013, aka Darth Tuna, quartz around S$2k+ as mentioned above





SBDX011, aka Emperor Tuna, automatic 8L35 around S$3k+ as mentioned above



Both are different, you can see if pricing at S$3k is worth for you.

IMO getting it physically means you are able to inspect it before grabbing it.

Go to Yodabashi store (especially the one in shinjuku). I find that you can slightly nego on price at Yodabashi.

Not so much in say BIC Camera or Laox Watch.



Show your passport to get less 5% tax and sometimes you can enjoy extra discount if you pay by visa.

Just ask.
