My First Orient!

Hey guys.



Not sure if this is the right sub-forum to post. Mods, apologies if wrong sub-forum.

Anyway, after much searching and lurking around the internet and forums, I decided to plunge in and buy my first Orient Watch.



For Watchsurplus eBay, I present to you, Orient Marshall green dial!











Please excuse the mess you see in the background. As you can see, the size is right for my arm, and I do have small wrists. Lovely looking dial, its a beautiful piece!

Only thing I do not like is the bracelet. Its kinda stiff and the edges are sharp. I can feel it biting to my skin.



Have ordered some leather bands to get it replaced. Now, should I invest on a sapphire crystal as well for the face?

to each their own

but for me I will keep it as it is till the crystal is deeply scratched or chipped

then I will consider upgrading it to sapphire crystal

nice...funky color for a watch dial...is that an inner bezel? I feel for orient in this price range, their weakness is their bracelets, just feels very light and the hollow end links are terrible.

As for modifications, I leave it up to you, whatever makes you feel comfortable then it is ok.
