Seiko solar chronograph diver lume pip
Very sad, just noticed that the lume pip on my solar chrono diver has gone missing...



Any bro know where I can get it fixed? What's the estimated cost? Or is there a mod bezel for it I can use?

Wonder how much it will cost from thong sia.. I know a monster bezel is $70. I guess for the solar chrono should be same or a little less.

100% sure k2 dun have....



generic movement parts and gaskets he keeps, thats a ton of stuff to upkeep already.....



seldom use stuff, he also goes to TS to buy and dun keep spare....., sometimes he gets us to buy otw as well

Mine did the same... I had spare planet ocean bezel insert from Yobokies which had a nice chrome ringed pip. So I used that as a replacement pip. Looks better than original

$70 with service? Try asking without service, they wanted to charge me $20 to fit a tuna shroud screw. And i literally mean $20 to pick up a screwdriver, hold the screw to the shroud and screw it in :)

Come to think of it, isn't this a factory defect? Not likely that you wanted this to happen. Also not your fault that the lume pip just suddenly came out from the bezel insert. Shouldn't they -- Seiko -- be replacing it for free instead? :?

Factory defect? Hard to argue especially since the watch was purchased from skywatches, not thong sia set. You think skywatch will care? That's the risk of buying from such places

But from what I understand, no matter where you buy it, it's still Seiko. And yes you are right, after purchase, in this case skywatches, they don't have a say anymore. Any other issues after purchase, have to bring it to AD and in this case is Thong Sia.

But from past experience with such shop warranty they will not agree it's a defect but will insist it's wear and tear, especially since i have had it for 4 months plus.

No charge was made for the labour I believe, I paid $70 for the whole bezel, they returned the old one to me. Solid piece of metal. Was quoted the same to replace monster bezel too.

May be the same for me when I went (to Thong Sia) to change the rubber case protector for my Map Meter, quote me $25++ only when in my mind I thinking $50 max. Waited for around 20 minutes and it was done in a jiffy!
