SKX 007 + Yobokies Super Oyster Bracelet

SKX 007 + Yobokies Super Oyster Bracelet
Hi All

I purchased my first SKX 007 from Mr. Goh last weekend and he helped me change the rubber strap to the Super Oyster Evo S which I purchased from Yobokies. Before anything else, Mr. Goh was really patient to his customers that even when there were 3 other people waiting in the queue and it was already 7:55pm (shop about to close), you won't feel that he's giving you a "rush" service. thumbs up to that!

Going back to the Super Oyster, i got the one with the SEL. And when Mr. Goh tried to attach the strap to the case lugs, the fat seiko spring bars won't go in or rather it's too tight. he tried and tied for 10 mins but it won't go in. the fat seiko spring bars were just too thick. I thought I have wasted my new super oyster bracelet since I can't wear it; i could still wear a nato but i'd like a stainless bracelet too. then we tried to use a slightly slimmer 22mm spring bar with double flanged and finally the oyster went it! that was a relief. however....the problem now is because it's a slightly thinner spring bar, the end links were showing a "gap" and i got that "bracelet near the lugs are moving" kind of feeling". if you're just a normal guy who just wants to know the time, then this should be fine. but if you're passionate about watches, every small details count.

id like to find out from the enthusiasts out there who have experience with Yobokies SEL Super Oyster bracelet. did you try using non-seiko fat spring bars with double flanged (similar to what tungchoy is selling or JakeB)? maybe you could share some techniques on how to remove the oyster bracelet without too much hassle?

hope to hear your feedback. thanks for reading!

You can get thinner spring bars (2mm iirc) with bigger 1.1mm ends. 1 of the forum members xzqt is selling it, you can try pm him.
Re: SKX 007 + Yobokies Super Oyster Bracelet
Who call me ??

hehe, mine the tip is 1.2mm, springbar body 2mm, double flange in 22mm only.

Thicker than the usual 1.75-1.78mm ones, with 1.1mm tip.
