Nice like the bracelet. should be very flexible and comfy. good son to buy stuff for mother!

Thanks... it looks like beads of rice, but really not in beads... it's in sections actually. When i first try on my wrist without re-sizing, the loose-ness and comfy is there of course. Even after resize to my mums wrist size, which is roughly 8 sections removed off, it still feels comfortable. The bottom may be flat, but the edges is not rough and sharp. Which is often perceived on budget makes with poor quality workmanship on some parts... especially the bracelets.

Here's my initial impression on the piece...

I would not say Kolber is budget brand by any means. They make good quality watches and I seem to remember they made some pretty good minute repeaters.. so no slouch.

They have fell down the ladder admittedly but this us what makes them a value buy.

Enjoy.

Well... they're making a come back... with budget friendly movements and perhaps some catchy designs and budget friendly price tags... not to miss for some old brand lovers. Found this by surprise...

http://www.kolbergeneve.com/Kolberfinalcatalog.pdf" false;

...the big date chronos @ pg.48 caught my attentions. But doesn't seems to have been brought in. Maybe i will go to THE CENTRAL Mall to take a look...

By the way... remember another old SWISS brand that fell the ladder as well couple of years back... CANDINO?

New watches are spotted... but i didn't take note of the price tag.

Ok, it's a Panarai homage, if not allowed, please delete it.

Came in the mail today, from Daji watch. Finishing was very good. Only complain is the strap is quite stiff.

Otherwise, an amazing watch.

My latest hoot is the SBDC-007 Shogun. Very nice watch which after adjusting the links rest nicely on my wrist. Totally turn me off my other watches.

Re: What's your latest HOOT(s) for Year 2014
Yet another watch hoot. From shaggyangel as mentioned by bros here in seikoclub, in a face-to-face deal with him in Orchard Road (he was carrying a massive bag full of white boxes, Grand Seikos? :D ). Not wearing on bracelet because I can't get the pins to come out with the springbar tool which did the trick for the SBDC-007. Watch is currently on a 20mm Nomos leather strap till I eke out some time to get someone to resize it for me.

BTW, the bracelet is very heavy. Suspect it weighs more than 100g since after I put it on the leather strap, it hardly weights anything on my wrist.

It also looks smaller than the SBDC-007.

New arrival yesterday, after waiting for slightly more than a month. Good experience all round - had to register an account with Fedex as a requirement from Stowa to charge non-VAT prices.

Watch is 40mm in diameter and maybe slightly larger from top lug to bottom lug, so it feels a bit small since up to now, almost all of my watches are able to cover most of my pale wrist flesh. :D
