help on identifying an old seiko

found my granddad's old seiko. anyone know what model is this? is it even a real seiko?



the watch has stopped, the frame surrounding the date and day has fallen off, scratches on the glass face and a little rust.



is it worth it to go to Seiko for repairs or should i just go to a neighborhood watch shop?

wat is written on the case back?



7xxx-xxxx, 8xxx-xxxx or?



the first 4 digits denotes the model number.



I doubt seiko has spare parts for this SQ quartz anymore.



These are from the 70s.



it might work again if you replace a new battery but provided the old battery has not leaked inside.

7546-8320 [G1] is written on the back.



ok, i guess i'll bring it to a watch shop to see if i can revive it.
