This one is just a temporary mock up to tell all who interested that he's planning on something look like this.

Maybe at the end when the project completes, the final size maybe smaller than 48mm as planned.

I think this one maybe going to be very costly... what the maker planned, is going to do something with the raw Unitas movement, then impose somekind of modification, or even perhaps adding a alternate module to make the watch look like that layout. I thought I had seen such a layout before on another brand... certainly not IWC...

I think this 4 sub dial layout quite common isn't it? except on brands like IWC and JLC the position of the moonphase is at the 12 o'clock instead of the 6? Any way I couldn't find any info on this mock up on his website. Could you kindly provide a link?

The movement is not quite common i guess... i tried to recall almost every brand i've seen in the market, however couldn't recall anything with 4 subdials, except those with modified 7751 calibre...

GMT means I can travel with it and it's more understated so no worries about being targeted. All in a dressy 39.5mm case. ;)

yah... i just come back from peninsular. and the golgo, as well as the 50% off on all seikos thingy is still there... duh... keeps me wondering is the price really so... competitive? or just a simple jack up of price, then sell @ 50%?

Golgo I was quoted 2 plus....Say got Samurai coming 400 plus...MM300 also coming 2.2 but later say 2.5.. so u guys take it as u want to take it.. but if u there and the piece is there and the price is in your comfort zone.. hoot!

Not so bad lah... at least the bezel still have it's hippy side... for those in their late 30s...

The only thing that makes him look old, are the slim and short hour markers as well as the hands... not much contrast against the dial... And if he reads the watch by squinting his eyes, that will cast a "senior" image on him...
