Changing bracelet for my seiko5

Changing bracelet for my seiko5
Hi everyone, i am new in this forum.

I will like to change the bracelet on my SNZF17J1 from the original oyster to engineer. May i ask, how much does it cost to have it replaced, where can i get it done and if there is an engineer strap with SEL suitable for my watch?

This is a pic of my current watch.

Many thanks in advance!

engineer style bracelet can be found online at strapecode, yobokies, wjean etc, won't be cheap when compared to how much u paid for the watch in the first place

Oh, you are right. Engineer bracelets are expensive!

I think I will try out the NATO straps for a start. Beside getting them online, in SG is there any shops selling NATO straps?

TIA!

I agree with Bro balzebub71. I also have the same watch - the Sea Urchin - but not made in Japan.

It looks very nice already in it's original bracelet, why change?

Just my 2 cents .....

Cheers.

I noticed that one of the spring bars is bent, although it not giving way yet. Since I had to get it changed, I thought maybe I can try out something new. The current bracelet is nice, this one i agree with you. :)
Re: Changing bracelet for my seiko5
Ok, I went to get the bent spring bar changed yesterday at one of the shops in Bencoolen. Turned out she used a thinner spring bar to replace the bent one. I didn't notice the difference and now my watch is nosier than usual. The end link is also more 'shaky' compared to previously.

Think I got to get it changed again.

On the other hand, I went searching for an old model SSA053 but can't find. Does anyone have any recommended seller in Rakuten?

TIA!!

Thanks! Maybe I should go down to K2 to get it done. Can also check if they have the SSA053 which I want.

Have you bought watch from Rakuten before? My last resort is to get online.
