Help needed for 6R15
Hi everyone, I like to know where can I get e specs of 6R15 mov't such as e Diameter, movt thickness as well as those 6R15 used for Sumo if these 6r15 r e same as those used for Seiko JDM classic SARB series. Hope someone can point me to e correct direction where I can get those info n sourcing a 6R15 mov't frm a reliable seller.

I dunno the measurements, but I suppose another angle to help would be to share with us your plans? Transplant?

SII NE15A & Seiko 6R15 are supposed to be the same movements (Noah Fuller used it in his Tsunami). Hope it helps.

Heehee... It's in e works. U see I've got e Seiko FFF numeral dial, a Military Soxa dial n a spare PVD case lying ard. I'm looking for an ideal mov't to fit into this PVD case which suppose to cater for ETA 2824-2 mov't. ETA mov't doesn't go hand in hand w those dial I've unless I opt to cut off e dial feet n cement/hot glue onto e ETA. I understand 6R15 can take those dials I mentioned but I need to find out more info on e 6R15 specs on whether e dimension can fit into e PVD case I've got

Nice! Sumo oso 6r15 meh? Isn't it 6 something else?

Btw, if u decide to use soxa dial, sell me your FFF numeral hor (got date rite?)

Sounds like a good plan.

Might want to check the stem length too and if it fits on the crown.

Hmm... Has anyone has any gd idea or knowledge if one can relocate e dial feet or plc e dial securely in plc w e movt ? What sort of idea do u guys ve ?

Hi tanwill, what sort of machine to do spotwill cos I worked in e Aerospace company. E welfare r willin to help Bt their method is e manual spotwill by torch which may burn or caused e dial a permanent stain. E other spot weld I know of is by a machine which e company I worked does not own any. Can u advise where or any safer method ?

I have not done it before, but if you do a search its Laser Welding.



There's some DIY subsitutite which is using silver solder but it seems difficult.



There is another method used by many modder. Glue ! or 3M sticker <thin type> !

These seems to be the simplest.
