I find stuhrling watches design are gd and is interested to get the millennia expo. Is this a reliable brand ?

Stuhrling watches despite the german sounding name isn't made in germany and if you are hooting an automatic, they put chinese movements in them, not that there is anything wrong with that, but just so you know you are not actually buying a German watch with swiss movements. But from the pieces that i've handled, they seem to be of decent quality and build. So if you like the design and can get it at a GOOOOOD price then buy lor..



IF want a true German watch must hoot brands like Stowa, Laco, Archimede, Sinn, Nomos which are all fairly affordable..

Won't touch them with a 10ft pole personally. There are watches with better build quality in the same price range imo.

A friend bought Sturhling's "Night's of Moscow" tribute of Poljot. Looks similar but the quality is like the price /performance ratio.



Only 10% of the quality.



The stem / crown of the poor Sturhling came off in less than 6 months, and the cheapest watchsmith in Singapore is asking for $100 for the service.



The price of the watch is $150.



Nice too see, not so nice to eat... If you know what I mean. Maybe my friend has that moment of bad luck...

Was really turned on by their design, now feels turn off after knowing that their quality sucks.

Like all watch companies, I'm sure Sturhling is doing their level best to improve on their QC.



But just stick to Seikos for the best value, folks. :) Go-go Asian Invasion Domination! \m/

Gotto admit Orient's got some neat swanky, Funky Design - might even last. Wish I could give a more meaningful input, but I have never owned an Orient.

agreed. i own an orient open heart watch, very value for money. but now need to streamline my already small watch collection, probably have to let it go. :(
