Send your watch for authentication if you will. There are many high quality Seiko and other high end watches fakes out there.

Yes but dealing at service centres can be rather inconvenient since they only operate during office hours and not all brands offer authentication services.

Getting preowned watches with display casebacks and in-house movements seem to be a safer choice now.

I read through some of this scam artist's post and one common pattern is his watches are always just serviced even though only 2-3 years old. I suspect maybe he forge service reports?

Possibly, if an entire watch can be faked well, a few pieces of paper or a box is too hard for them.

Re: Scam Artist selling Replica Luxury Watches in Singapore
The SCS market place access is very restricted and all sellers have to go through the admin to get access.

For info, there's only 60 members in that group, so we can be assured that sellers here are trusted but do verify as a buyer as a trusted seller can be selling something beyond his knowledge.

However, outside SCS, whether he claims he's from SCS or not, the buyer just have to exercise caution.

Finally a real benefit of restricting the market place, despite the criticism received. ;)
