Seiko Bullhead

Seiko Bullhead

Photo from google, not actual watch.

So my dad was on vacation in Bangkok and chanced upon a good condition Bullhead and purchased it.

Condition is not too bad, time keeping is good and chrono works and resets properly.

However, i have no idea how to change the date and day besides adjusting the time (i.e. forwarding the time by 24 hours to change the date).

Is there any way to change it faster and to synchronize the date with it as well?

Apologies for the noobish questions but i've googled and nothing similar came up!

Cheers.
Re: Seiko Bullhead
There is 2 click just like any automatic watch. The first click on the crown will do it.
Re: Seiko Bullhead
There is quickset day and date function. Pull out the crown halfway. Turn crown clockwise to set the date and turn anti-clockwise to set the day.
Re: Seiko Bullhead
Thanks for the quick reply mate.

That was what i was worried about..the 1st click does not engage the time/date.

Better break the news to my dad that he bought a clunker...haha.

Re: Seiko Bullhead
Can always send in to the Goh brothers for a quote.

Sent by the yellow minions.
Re: Seiko Bullhead
I think that is a minor issue and can easily be fixed.

This watch is a good catch IMHO. Seldom I see one in good condition.

Wear it in good health.
