Hi ppl,

I just received my seiko today. I really like the dial but I have an issue with the date settling. I dunno whether it's due to just my piece itself or generally the watches of this series. the manual states that the date changes around 12 midnight but mine changes by 11:35pm. I dunno it's just me being sensitive about it or that there's really something wrong with it. it's a 6R21 movement btw. can anyone advise me? thanks!

ooh nice, pics please? bought online from japan? Never owned a 6R21 movement before so cannot comment. Maybe the seiko gurus here can help with that? Almost bought this watch and the storm trooper edition, but the price tag stopped me cold..

It sounds like the hands were not set zhun zhun at midnight when installed.

It's really not an issue meaning mechanical there is nothing wrong.

But if it bothers u, u can always go thong sia and asked then to re-set the hands. If it's under warranty, they should do it foc.

Alternatively, you try k2.
