Hi, not sure if this has been discussed in the past before, but where is the best place to get an SKX007? Preferably the J variant in bracelet.. Got quoted 340 for an skx007 (not sure if it is the j or k variant) @ bencoleen, the bracelet is oyster style wif solid end links. Is it worth hooting?

Where to buy is settled but I guess you would next want to know price reasoonable or not. Suggeat you check online for price guage like skywatch etc. Also, you may already know this, different bracelet different price. I think for ss bracelets, the jubilee is cheapest and most ex is the oyster. As always I stand corrected by more knowledgeable bros here. Cheapest watch band is with the rubber but most will advise getting the ss bracelet and get the rubber ot other bands later as the ss bracelets usually cost more when purchased separately.

To see whether J or K can just look at dial. J type has an extra line of the text, I think in red and of course the words made in japan on it.

Ps I got my 007J 3 years ago with jubilee belt but was given an extra rubber. Price was in the mid $300. Just a guage for you. I am sure you can get a better deal.

Yup did not know of K2 then. But nevermind, its all part of the journey.



Just for info, the one I bought had local AD warranty and english/roman day wheel. I think the K2 one has english/arabic day wheel. Dont really know the significance but just for info.

skywatch seikos are all gray market, warranty is from them not Seiko Singapore though they are cheaper than the shops at Bencoolen. Make sure to quote their website prices or they will try to hammer you with a higher price. Almost bought a Orange Sumo from them but they tried charging me higher than what was quoted on their website, so i didn't bite.
