Like the dial, not a fan of the bezel.
A bit like Air King's Engine-Turn Bezel. But yeah a different bezel might work better. :)

haha could be just me but I would prefer a smooth bezel or have this same bezel in brushed form. ;)

True that. A friend commented that it looks a little like a Rolex DJ2. In a certain angle...maybe a little.

it's expensive right? cost more than seiko 5 but still using the 4R3X movement?
Most Seiko 5s are still on the 7S series movement ;)

It's the sandwich class between 5 & SARY/ SARB series. It's 500+ before discount.
The accuracy of the 4R can put some ETAs to shame. It's really rock solid. I l'll dub this model as the "Seiko DJ2". The black on black is just so...deliciously sexy.

Saw quite a number of watches from this category while hunting for a Tuna, just feel they are too expensive; would rather top up a little and get a SARB...or pay a lot less and just whack a normal seiko 5 or monster..

Good point. But it depends on how much you like the watch & how much you paid for the watch. :)If your spare funds, at that moment of purchase, allow you to get a piece that attracts you...
