One of my favorite watches is back!!!
I had this, mounted on a president, which I felt fit the watch perfectly. Then, I never appreciated how smoothly the gold hands and bezel markings played with the orange dial. The orange dial is also more doxa than monster, which is a nice touch if you buy the story that doxa's orange is THE orange for maxing visibility underwater.



Foolishly I sold it last year, and now I miss it, and want it back. This photo was of my previous piece:







So, I visited K2 just now with several outcomes in mind, and I'm glad to report achieving at least two of them :mrgreen:



One - buy a strap that looks period-correct for the FFF. ;) ;) :lol:



Two - buy a president and an orange SKX to put the above watch back in my divers stables :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Yup it's me! Saw your nick and I remembered.



For the Japan WP, I have no idea so far. Most of the SKX007J I found on the internet during research prior to my purchase is mostly JAPAN A. However I did find a result on someone's SKX007J happens to be JAPAN WP too. I only know the letters after JAPAN represents the factory produced from. But If I'm not wrong, WP only surfaced recently.

The model is SKX011J.



For price wise, Official Agent Thong sia is going for 400+ (If I remember correctly.)



Official reseller at normal shops like Bras Basah around $350



Parallel imports (no box no warranty, only in shop warranty) around $260.



I think uncle Goh at K2 is selling at 230 for the SKX007, parallel import, no box no warranty by agent. only warranty by him.

Honestly, so far <touch wood> Seiko is quite reliable.

Even with some vintage from K2....quite good.
