casio mdv 106

how many of you here have this watch? It can be gotten for less than $80..the black dial is hard to find. I got one from those old pens and watch shops at lvl 1 bras brasah that is not the auntie one...



it was attempting to mod it and it didn't work, so i was hunting for another one..took me a few months to finally find another black dialled one rotating in the casio display at twinkle. so hoot immediately.

there is also a white/silver (more silver than white in the flesh) dialled version

this watch also comes with a bracelet which many are cursing and swearing. I got the resin strap. since they make straps for gshock, i love gshock straps, so i also love tis strap

nth much, wanted to start out by removing the casio word, then found out with marker not nice, so next wanted to spray paint the chapter ring..



next spray the dial, at that time i dunno that can remove the movement so easily from the dial, so i just spray it with the movement behind and lost the date wheel. even tho i used blu-tack to cover the lume markers still fail and the paint seeped lume markers.



results, constructive total loss.



now i intend to just keep it as it is cos i wanna bring it for diving.

Oh dear ! It must be a mess.

Guess in must be in the drawer now.
