Newbie here trying to change my quartz battery. Was searching around for Sony SR927W battery but seems like not so easy. I wonder those old birds here where do you buy your battery and what is the price range?

Ebay if u dont need it urgently.

A silver oxide SR battery will cost ard 4-5 bucks
An alkaline one (same size, they will put the size as AG7) can cost 50cents only
Of course, u can drop by Ah Goh and he will change for u.

(PS: I bought some AG7 batteries via ebay. If u want (for free) , come over to Tampines to get one... Got 10 of them when I only needed 2..lol)
Disclaimer: its a china brand one so may not be as long lasting as a Silveroxide one...lol

Many thanks for your offer. I will search around as this is part of a process for learning, and also this is the reason why I want to DIY although I know Ah Goh can help to change at good price.

Try to use quality branded battery. Chinese branded battery may leak and complicate future maintenance.
