I'm chuffed! When I first joined this forum a few short weeks ago, I was in fact looking for a Seiko 6159 hockey puck. Low and behold! Scored one a couple of days ago and it is the one without the 'm' after 600! I have some quick and dirty pics of it here for now.

Looking forward to its return from service and then will be on my website :-)

Yup.

There are only 4 auto tunas



6159-7010m



6159-7010non m (rare) due to an error which they issued in 1975 where there is no m after 600, a short production and then, later issue with 600m in the later batch.



Sbdx005 historical issue (1000pcs only)



Sbdx011 emperor tuna (share the same movement as 005)

Yes this is automatic.

One of the earlier divers, and one of my holy grails :-)

Was really hooked on the Seiko early divers (and some of their modern re-issues).

That is always the question, innit? I was hoping to continue with my vintage Omega collection, but recently I got very interested in Seiko Credor, Brightz and the Seiko Flightmaster SBDS001.



In fact, I think I'll hunt the Flightmaster next. Or the SBDX005 Historical Issue.
