Just to check, is there any rubber strap that looks like the original but it's much softer for Sardine?
u can detach your rubber strap from your watch then place them in a cup and pour hot water in, they will become more comfy...

My Sardine was running very well during the first few weeks, usually getting very good timing.
However, it runs -10sec for every 12 hours after that.
So this week, I opened up the case to do some trial & error DIY regulating, so far the result is good and I hope it can maintain the accuracy.
I can't say the same on my attempt on my SNZH53, it's gone totally out of whack, lol.
My monster improved from +1min to -5sec.

Saw at Queensway shopping centre in one of the shops there run by a lady two or three months back. Offered only a 10% discount off the retail tag price.

New metal shroud but the bezel and insert dont seems matching aesthetically . Probably need new dial and hands!

From this viewpoint, sure cannot tell if nice or not. Maybe can put on then show again. Take it from there we see and say if nice or not.

I just went down the same route as you and bought a srp231 today.
I intend to convert it to a "Tuna" lookalike.( should have checked first, I know now it's very expensive)
My thoughts are to purchase the DLC Shroud and bezel from yobokies but I saw a thread that some of the forumers had issues with the fit. I am glad yours doesn't. Has this issue been resolved?
Also, Harold mentioned there is a DLC bezel available. Does it mean it's full black? Btw do I still have to pick up an insert?
I actually like your bezel very much but also feel that the "gold" from the chapter ring(mr Goh from K2 said it can't be removed?)and hands will clash with the SS colour. Hence if I could get the DLC bezel it would be ideal.
Appreciate if you could chime in as I am new and can't PM yet. Will also appreciate any input from other seasoned bros. Thanks!

Yes, you will need a bezel insert. Bezel and the bezel insert are two different parts. Here's a pic of the black DLC bezel (pic from internet)

Ya, I really don't like the original chapter ring as it doesn't match the rest of my watch. I'm waiting to see if anyone can help me buy the chapter ring from Yobokies.
