Re: Questions about marine master 300...
Big time was selling at 3050 until a few mths back when yen dropped, then now 7% off across the board excluding discounts for regulars. I enquired abt shaggy bros pieces there, one sales person mentioned abt questionable movement replacements done in indo. It could just be his sales talk, but at only abt 300 dollars difference currently i rather have a piece of mind by buying local set :)

That is quite serious. I only heard from Big Time about questions on servicing the pieces at TS but not questions on the movement itself. I think even the ones bought from BT are warranted by BT only, if I am not wrong. But at least they have a physical shop here.
If that kind of thing bothers the buyer then, no choice but to get a set locally even if it means paying a bit more. To be even more sure (if that is even a phrase) get from TS. I saw a piece at Vivo city seiko shop. Cheers.
Mileage varies.
Can only say I for one have no problems, touch wood, so far.
Enjoy the journey more than the destination.
Like i said. Could be just sales talk so go with your gut feeling. Vivo seiko shop selling at 4k+ awhile ago by the way
