Hi all,



I'm about to commit the biggest sin (in term of price) to buy an rollie from a grey importer and have arrange for verification at RSC before transaction of cash. May I ask what I should take note of?



The watch supposingly from an authorised dealer from Hong Kong. Is it safe?

I dont think theres any big issue about its authencity if it clears RSC verification.

Believe, RSC will only verify the S/N numbers and matching #. From what I know. Frankly, if u have a loupe, can check yourself since this look like a BNIB buy. S/N is at 6o'clock. Other than that, I don't believe they will open up to check. Unless movement have number stamped/engraved which I don't think so. Have fun!

I thought they will verify internal parts as well since every part is serialised, that is how they keep track of decent parts instead of those gray market parts. That was what I am told by a watch retail personnel.

If not comfortable with RSC, then buy from shops u trust.

If not comfortable with shops, buy from AD.



To me, if i ever go to RSC and they say original then I bochap what they do, I hoot liao.



But, sorry I never have chance to go there.
