Can any of the lau jiao bros here who r more familiar with rollies please advise what is that barcode like thingy on the side of the case?

I've seen this type of QR code before on one of my colleague's submariner. I don't think it is sticker ley... feels like some kind of laser-engraving...

Perhaps my finger is too thick liao lah...

If u look at the lower left lug area, u can see the protective sticker has not been peeled off.

So far I only noticed this QR thingy on those labelled as BNIB and of recent series hence I'm wondering is it a sticker or laser etched. If its laser etched then I think it kinda ugly.



Any more bros can advise?

It is a printing on the side.

More like barcode.

The thing is that, it will or can be rubbed off. So when u buy, keep the clear sticker on.

It might be a clear sticker with the barcode to begin with.

When I pealed off, can still see the barcode on the side, maybe ink or the maeking stick onto side.



Thought is a new authentication technology, and strangely, it can be rubbed away.



Some say, dont remove the clear sticker. Some say doesnt matter.

It is a clear sticker w the code.

I have peeled it off from my explorer ii.

There are quite a few stickers on the bracelet n buckle to prevent scratches.

I've been discovering n peeling them off on my first few days of wearing.

Mine still have the barcode which stayed on the side for quite sometime. After a few sessions of cleaning and wiping, the barcode bo liao..

My main concern about buying from shop is cannot deal at RSC for verification.

The quoted price is market rate for grey set from what I observed on sg roc. Just that it being a shop, I'm not sure if they entertain verification at RSC bo.

gmt2c tt is a nice piece.

it is not too loud yet has a class of elegance with the gold color.

hopefully i can welcome it onto my wrist someday.

If buying from a retailer shop in SG that sells overseas AD set, I presume there will be additional 7% GST imposed on top of the selling price? Any bros can advise?

Haha got you! Meanwhile I check, don't think that shop is GST registered too. Hence if I hear otherwise then I will turn around and walk out.
