Mr Goh of K2 Watch Co

Mr Goh of K2 Watch Co
My K2 Watch Co exprience .

I set off & once again caught the MRT which wasnt jammed packed as every other time :) this time i was heading for K2 Watch Co , i read on this forum so much good things about Mr Goh . So i looked up the MRT train guide & realized i had to get off @ Serangoon station & get the CC line from there

So i looked around this complex & thought were is K2 :?: I couldnt find it anywhere in this shopping complex , i was lost like your typical tourist ussually is :? So i figured the best way to work out were the Tanjong Katong Complex is , was to ask the locals for directions . So being it was 13:00 i was hungry & figured i will have me a late breakfast & at the same time ask for diretions , i stopped at this tiny home style kitchen tucked away in the most unlikely corners of the complex called 'Sweet Eating House' & ordered some very tasty Char kway teow + asked for directions "thanks for their kind help" ;)

I walked up the stairs to the 3 rd floor & looked around till i found the K2 watch shop , my first impressions were "this is a real watchmakers" no BS workstation style of shop .

I waited till Mr Goh finished with his customers he was already attending to & once he was free , i said hello & proceeded just to look at all his watches & wall clocks etc . Mr Goh just quitely went about his business , after approx 10 mins of just checking all his stock . i saw a very nice Seiko wall clock & asked Mr Goh about it , he kindly taken it off the wall & shown me it "Nice" i asked for a deal & he did give me a great discount :)

Mr Goh was a quite bloke that just went about his business "repairing watches" & was exactly what a old school Singaporean watchmaker in my mind should be , a polite & quietly spoken get down to the business of watch repairs no 'BS' type of guy 8-)

Overall my exprience with K2 Watch Co was a nice one 'Mr Goh' was not a sales man , but a genuine watchmaker & a decent bloke that offers a great service to anyone who wants a new watch or their watch repaired . ;)
Re: Mr Goh of K2 Watch Co
Agree fully with your conclusion about Mr Goh. He also never takes on what he does not believe he will do a good job on - and is ALWAYS excellent value for money!
