Racing Themed Watches

Recently laid eyes on this while shopping with my sis at an AD and really really poisoned... Been looking at racing themed watches ever since i got my Steinhart GP Chrono. :D

Any one has any other suggestions? Maybe more pocket friendly ones, hahaha!

Omega Speedmaster Racing (311.30.42.30.01.004)

Or its rare vintage brother

Or something more exotic

I've been looking at the Pan Europ too! The 60 hours power reserve is very impressive at its price point. But the pillow case macam a bit big hor :D

Looks good! Can fit under cuff of shirt some more. Maybe my wrist more skinny la, i'm 6.5" nia.

i really dig the leather and lug integration on the IWC, a bit like Hublot watches :D haha

All very valid suggestions bro, thanks for the input! But i'm of the opinion that the lack of metallic finishing on the face of Omega SMPs make it look a little casual. :)

Fir Iwc ingy, you have very very limited strap options cos of the lug design. You are pretty limited to their propriety straps. And each strap costs about sgd700 onwards.

6.5 inch wrist should be ok. Mines 6.75. So it should fit u better.

Racing Themed Watches?? Maybe want to try CHINA engine??

Lew and Huey!

http://forums.watchuseek.com/f71/lew-huey-chronograph-thread-part-i-future-proofed-845978.html"cars with Chinese engine"?

Though Chrono movements not made by SEAGULL, they're column wheel as well... priced from 310eu ~ 410eu.

Discount too good liao, power reserve also discounted!

This is an option (although you already have the GP LE)

Tissot, Mido all pretty affordable alongside Hamilton. Frankly any mainstream swiss make will be above 1k sgd and it would help if you had a budget in mind. Also, it only goes upwards with the other brands so be prepared to fork out more $$$ ;)

With shipping to SG, 778eu. Base on current x-rates, should be slightly under 1.3k.

But add in GST later as well as FEDEX Charges... should be around 1.35k...

Thanks. I also just found out.

If i'm to compare this with the one from Christopher ward...

which is the cheapest of all listed in the Christopher Ward site... but still expensive compared to STEINHART, with pairing black leather strap...

I would go after STEINHART, for the hardworks on the design of the parts and decorated movement.

This may look sleeker and sexier, but still pricey... could easily hits 1.6k with shipping to SG.

Agree, I would pick the 861/1861 over the 7750s at that price point.

Racing Themed Watches- from LIMES Germany

Previously only available thru 3rd party seller... now we can order straight from a website that sells LIMES product.

However... i couldn't understand why shipping to SG is 40eu while HK is 20eu??

Anyway... here are the 3 models... with 7750 movements @ 1284eu with shipping to SG

perforated black leather strap with RED stitch

perforated black leather strap with WHITE stitch

rough surfaced black leather strap with WHITE strap

From this angle, the CHOPARD certainly looks very sexy.

If the movement 7750 is used, from this angle, it will looks more like the gauges above the steering wheel.

However, the price is   CHOPARD Chrono... ...$7k?

GOLANA SWISS Men's Advanced Pro 200 Watch... affordable @ $1

From ASHFORD, dunno offer ends when...

Like STEINHART and budget one from Christopher Ward... comes standard on RUBBER strap with butterfly clasp(?)... but GOLANAs one very dull... no pattern...

Non-decorated movement, but comes with better WR specs @ 100m...
