Hi, I have an Orient Star WZ0091EJ.



It has a domed mineral crystal and I've been wanting to change it to sapphire but cant find any information about this online.



Does anyone know if I could get this done locally?

u can check with Big Time or you can pop by Khatena at rochor, they might have something available.



curious why you want to swap the original crystal out?

Thanks for the info sellwatch!



This is like my 'beater' watch. As much as i try to baby it, the current crystal has picked up a few nicks during daily use.



The crystal being domed isn't helping either. It's like a scratch magnet.

Ahhh I see. Dome ones are scratch magnets for sure. Pretty sure khatena has flat ones but domed ones might be tough.

Yeah. I know khatena sells watch parts and tools. But do you know if they do the actual replacement?



Cos i dont know the exact dimensions of the crystal i need.



I'll check with Big Time first. Didn't know they do servicing for orient stars too! :D

Hi,



I am rather new and was wondering if they also do "polishing" to clean up domed crystals too?

Hi guys, sorry for the late reply. Finally found time to go down to bigtime.They do normal mineral crystal replacement for this model at $50. But they don't do sapphire crystal replacement.
