Buying Grand Seiko (local or imported?)

Toying with the idea of a Grand Seiko SBGR073

Anyone knows if its better to buy locally or from Japan? Seiya has this listed for about 3.2 USD ( around 4k sgd or so after gst and what not), can I get it at around this price locally?

You can try enquiring at the Seiko Boutique at Vivo, understand the discount structure is 10% off..



Not sure if BigTime brings in GS..

Higuchi watches have competitve prices .

A while back i attempted to use Rakuten and the communications with the Japanese store was a little slower but i still managed to communicate well with them.



It was a intended purchase of the SBDX001 which i eventually got from another source.

They list quite a large number of dealership and you can shop for the lowest offerings. Which gets snapped up pretty quickly.

Best is to go japan, use holiday as an excuse. And buy while u r there. Heard u can really find good stuff there.

When i last visted Vivo city's Seiko boutique , they didnt want to give more than 10% off GS , Ananta Lines . But were offering up to 20% off the rest of store stock , Thong Sia when they were previously open on Bideford rd offered 10% also for GS , Ananta .

yea discount seems controlled, they were willing to give me 10% off. Doesnt make it an attractive offer to get from them.

can get GS or Ananta from me bro :)
