hi guys, it seems like smartphone have became a part of our life and we can't live without it.

we will always stare at this device whenever we are or no matter what we do. (well of course we use our mobile phones to surf this forum to take picture of our beloved watch for the wruw threads too right :D)



anyway this thread is for all the gadget lovers to share their views about the current tech stuff about phones or tablets in the market. or when is the next IT show coming up or any good deals? also share what device here currently using and what's your next target?



I'll go first... I'm using the old white iPhone 4 that I recently bought from a second hand shop cause my old Samsung Galaxy S2 got soaked using the visit at USS :roll: anyway I'm looking at a upgrade and wanna try something new - the HTC One. anyone using it?









anyway for camera I still feel that the iPhone has one of the best one to take watch phones

Personally i would still prefer my next phone to be a BlackBerry... Z10 after my contract expires in the next 3 month time... so this gives a big window period for the OS to fine tune over time, as well as price to drop till a comfortable level.

Experia Z specs looks good. I'm Using note2.not bad leh.


note 2 is too big for my liking. I also tried the experia series at shops but don't really like the feel of it on my hands...

Personally i would still prefer my next phone to be a BlackBerry... Z10 after my contract expires in the next 3 month time... so this gives a big window period for the OS to fine tune over time, as well as price to drop till a comfortable level.



not really a blackberry fan. but I've seen the z10, it's a great effort by them but still I think there are better phones :P

Psion went bust before colour LCD PDAs came into the market. It's a real cool PDA for me, but it died one year after I bought it.



I have 2 Yotsuba, one of them is the summer collection one

I'm just a pure iPhone user now, iPad2 for surfing. Will like to get the 2nd version of iPad Mini as that's the best form factor for me.

I remember there's still PPC OS....iPaq by compaq, Clie by Sony.

Samsung is getting pop nowadays with many iPhone user shifted to Samsung.



Keen to own a Samsung S4.

i actually prefer android over to iOS, though iOS have also proved to be safer while android is rather more 'fun' :D

I also looking at HTC One but the QC for the first batch seem a bit off. Maybe wait for the production to stablise first. If your S2 got warranty, dry it up and can still send in to Samsung for repair. Samsung is not as anal as Apple.

The kindle white paper screen only consumes power when it is changing the content on the screen. That why there isn't a power off button, cos it doesn't not consume additional power to maintain the content on the screen.

That's what I thought too.



I actually wanted to buy a kindle during the thanks giving sales but the content that I want to read readily is not from Amazon, but PDFs from work or other sources and I don't know if kindle can render any other pdf properly.



Sort of like a text only browser trying to render a modern html page.

my gf just got one set from tampines singtel. the manufacturing date was dated 14/4/13

the gap issue was not very serious, which we found on some sets that it was so bad that when you go and press it, the gap can 'close'. the one she got was perfectly fine.

just a hairline but it was still sealed.



read some thread that htc one have disregard the 'zero' gap advertisement. and method that it is actually referring to the back cover.



going down to adix today to get my set. hopefully no gap issues
