Ananta Katana Case , Is Discontinued ?

The Ananta's katana sword styled case design has been discontinued ? all Ananta's look like they have a new case 'Brightz Ananta' as its called in Japan .

I cant find any official statement confirming Katana case are no longer , but am fairly sure this is the situation ?

Its a shame Seiko discontinued the Katana styled cased Ananta's , i am also glad i got me a Ananta prior to the Katana cased Ananta's be discontinued . To me the Ananta isnt authentic without the Katana case .

Its said it cost too much to produce the Katana case versions & Seiko opted out & produces the Brightz cased versions now .

I have not heard of this but it is indeed a sad thing if the katan case has been discontinued.

I have the katana cased Ananta as well courtesy of Seiko. (received mine in a Seiko competition)

And i really love the katana finish.

PS : Miker, i have just replied your PM before reading this post. If the katana case is indeed discontinued i strongly advise you to hold on to your Ananta.
