Yup, absolutely agree. Love the classic look and finish and I think it is very versatile when coming to matching various dressing styles.

Hmm... the partially polished bracelets will make the bloddy tooth much smaller and un-noticeable, as the metal will seems to loud to the indexes.

Personally, i feel that the black nato strap with a single red line in the middle complements well with the red outline around the indexes.

Or, for other options, look out for the black canvas strap with red stitches, or the perforated black PAROS with red stitch @ K2, pairs well as well...





For the Orange... I would suggest to look out for the black nato with 2 orange lines... makes it more sportier.

Was thinking of something like the hammer bracelet from yobokies.







But can't go wrong with any of the black/red combo recommended by Ed.YEO. Another alternative is the bradystrap sailcloth textured strap with red stitching quite classy too

My thoughts exactly, that's why I bought 2 watches but currently no tools to play around.

I think Ed.YEO is right, with the bracelet, to does look a little smaller.



I saw the black leather with red trimming strap at K2, might get that during my next week.



Have to stay away, while bitten b these 2, the salted egg poison is now in my bloodstream and I might not be able to resist.

I found these straps to go with my salted egg.




I saw @ K2 last nite, some kind of new model of strap machiam got rubber coating from PAROS. On the back embossed WATER RESISTANT. Stitching with thicker threads, so far only black thread with black strap, red thread with red strap which makes me thought of the bloody teeth monster but perhaps won't match because of the thick thread, and some kind of coffee brown thread with deep brown strap which i immediately thought of your GLYCINE with coppertone dial, and the SEIKO WorldTimer with rose gold bezel and deep oxidized copper tone dial.

i can try to visualize with your pic lah. no worries. actually, hardly use the coppertone also hahaha. i'll post a pic later of the coppertone with another aftermarket strap i'm using now. lemme know how similar the kopi strap is to the one i have already? thx.

can I ask what is the 2nd language (other than English) for the day wheel?

Is there any difference in the language of the day wheel between the old monsters vs the new monsters?

For the locally available J makes, mostly comes with English + Arabic date wheel... as these stocks are mostly targetted to be shipped to the middle eastern markets...

You won't see the English + Kanji(???) wheel much in local market one, unless specially limited editions...

If you're going to K2, you may forget about the Bloody Fangs as they are sold out... The salted egg dial, PVD bracelet one is the next popular model and K2 should have some balance left...

Personally, I prefer the new teeth of the new monsters. Mores expensive though but hand wind and hackable, so rally up to your preference.

I saw an old OM still available at K2

i finally bought an old OM at k2 this evening!

goh was patient and kind to let me compare the old and new monster models.

somehow the old OM appeals to me more.

initially i wanted to choose the double orange stripe nato to match with this salted egg dial... but... i find that the orange is too bright, and double louder than the orange on dial as well as bezel, i give up...

For ur OM, i suggest to go for the grey base, orange stripe NATO. The grey will blend well with your case, the orange to your dial. If got black stripe on the NATO, will look weird due to thick black...

I will rebook at that combo. Somehow, I am not excited by the grey. But this will be a good reason to visit K2 again, but will wait at least a week.
