Monster running fast

my current monster (about 3 weeks old) with the 4R36 movement is running rather fast imo (about 5 minutes/week)

should i be concerned about it or just don't bother ? 5 minutes a week is rather fast for me



anybody knows how much is it to regulate it at K2 ? and is it covered by warranty ?

5mins a week, 43s/day, could be either inside or outside the 4R36's stated accuracy range: +45/-35 seconds per day. However, it is extremely borderline.



If you bought an AD (Thong Sia) authorized set, it'd be covered by warranty, might be worth a trip down to their showroom to ask. If you bought a grey-market piece, no luck on that; you'll need to talk to the shop you bought from to see what they can do.



In either case, Mr. Goh can help; not sure how much he charges, but should be well below one blue note. He'll be able ttagus it while you wait, so no need to come back and pick it up.

dont think it's an AD set, bought it from K2.

Just go talk to Mr. Goh then, hopefully it will be sorted out soon.

From what I've read online, everyone is reporting very good accuracy with 4R36, i.e. less than 10s difference per day.



Mine is running +5s a day.



I would suggest bringing it to K2, regardless if it is within specs...
