Now next question is.... Buy from UK website or US? Cos seems like only UK website had VAT rebates for outside EU customers... :mrgreen:

I had tried making an order before... but never really go all the way.

When you try to order from the U.S site, you'll find that in the country destination selection column, you won't be able to find "Singapore" listed. Eventually you'll have to go to the UK site.

I tried the US website, seems like now they have Singapore in the drop down box for destination. But seems like after PayPal conversion rate it ended up over 900bucks in comparison to UK website which is end 700bucks. Nonetheless seems like PayPal conversion sucks!



Any lifehacks to circumvent the high conversion rate of PayPal? Will it be better if I add euro dollar as my primary currency before performing the transaction? In that case PayPal will charge my credit card in euro dollars hence I will end up paying the conversion rate of my bank? Any bros can advise?

I think there is an option to use the credit card bank's conversion rate. There should be a link which says "use other conversion rate" then you just select your credit card

It won't show on Paypal mobile, though. FYI, Paypal rate will be ~2.5% off the spot rate. if you use a CC, and pay in a foreign currency, you will still get charged a fee of ~1.5% to 2.5%. At the prices you're looking at, difference between PP and a CC will be only $9.



I'm guessing either the shipping charges CW charges to Singapore are crazy high, or the CW USA site just has higher prices.

Yes, delivery is safe and trustworthy.



Take a look around the net, some places will waive shipping and handling charges if your order is above a certain limit.

Does CW waive shipping in CONUS? If so, you MAY save a bit if you route to a shipping agent like VPost or comGateway. But more hassle.
